PETERSON
AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Terrence Molidor will
take the reigns as the 13th Command Senior Enlisted Leader tomorrow, Nov. 5,
2014, for North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command.
Molidor
is taking over for Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Winzenried, who retired in
September.
Molidor
joins the NORAD and USNORTHCOM team after completing his last assignment as
Fleet Command Master Chief for the U.S. Third Fleet,
an organization tasked with leading naval forces in the Eastern Pacific, from
the West Coast of North America to the international dateline.
Molidor, a native of
Port Hueneme, Calif., enlisted in the Navy on Nov. 25, 1982 and attended basic training
at Recruit Training Command in San Diego, Calif. Upon completion of RTC, he transferred to
Millington, Tenn. for Aviation Ordnanceman "A" School. He graduated
in the top of his class and was meritoriously advanced to Aviation Ordnanceman
Third Class. He then graduated from Navy
School Explosive Ordnance Disposal at the Navy Diving and Salvage Training
Center in March 1992.
Master Chief Molidor's
personal awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2nd
award), Navy Commendation Medal (5th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement
Medal (6th award), Good Conduct Medal (8th award) and numerous individual,
campaign and unit awards.
