Fresno - An F-15C Eagle assigned to the 144th Fighter Wing performs a long-range aircraft interception during Exercise AMALGAM DART, Aug. 25, 2026. Two aircraft were scrambled to locate, identify, and respond to a C-17 Globemaster III simulating a modern airborne threat. Exercise AMALGAM DART is a North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command exercise designed to enhance readiness and strengthen the defense of North America.
