KING SALMON, Alaska - A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the 18th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, lands at King Salmon Airport, Alaska, Sept. 9, 2025. The 18th FIS used the airfield to execute Agile Combat Employment demonstrating the ability for alert aircraft to remain ready and postured to respond to threats in the event the aircraft’s primary duty location is unable to support rapid launch of aircraft.
