U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Master Sgt. Christopher “Aggie” Aguilera, 66th Rescue Squadron aerial gunner, poses for a photo with Maj. Gen. Tamra Rank, U.S. Air Force Academy vice superintendent, following the presentation of Aguilera's new sports wheelchair by the Air Force Association and DRS Technologies at the Air Force Academy, April 23. Aguilera was one of two survivors from a HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter crash in southwest Afghanistan that killed five Airmen June 9, 2010. He has returned to active duty in the Air Force, and is discovering a new normal for his life as he adapts to his injuries. Aguilera is a member of the 2012 Air Force Team for the Warrior Games in rifle and pistol shooting, various track events, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball.
