Steven Poinsette, members of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command Color Guard, march at the opening ceremonies of Tattoo Estes 2011, a highland festival that took place in Estes Park, Colo., Sept. 8 – 11. A traditional joint service Color Guard will normally carry the U.S. flag and all service flags in order of seniority with a guard on both ends. At NORAD and USNORTHCOM, the Color Guard carries a variety of combinations but always carry the U.S. and Canadian flags.
