4th FW Strike Eagles assist shuttle launch

Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. - CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla. - Air Force Lt. Col. Gabriel Green and Capt. Zachary Bartoe patrol the skies over Kennedy Space Center, Fla., in an F-15E Strike Eagle as the Space Shuttle Atlantis launches into space for the last time. During the patrol, Strike Eagle aircrews identified and redirected five aircraft that inadvertently violated the airspace restriction put in place for the launch. Green is the 333rd Fighter Squadron commander and Bartoe is a 333rd FS weapons system officer. Both aircrew members are assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt.
