PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – The ribbon-cutting of the North American Aerospace Defense Command’s Pentagon corridor exhibit will take place April 28 at 12:15 p.m. on the third floor, A-Ring, between corridors 10 and one, to commemorate the 52-year partnership between Canada and the United States in the collective defense of our homelands.
U.S. Air Force General Gene Renuart, commander of NORAD and U.S. Northern Command, will preside over the dedication ceremony of the permanent exhibit. Ambassador Gary Doer, Ambassador of Canada to the United States, and Michèle Flournoy, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, are also scheduled to attend and provide comments.
This museum-quality wall display honors NORAD, the defense agreement between Canada and the United States, and is a tribute to the combined effort providing for the common defense of North America.
