Santa’s Traveling WorkshopTM Santa to be briefed at NORAD Tracks Santa Operations Center

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A media availability with Santa’s Traveling WorkshopTM world renown Santa will take place Thursday morning following his NORAD air mission brief at the NORAD Tracks Santa Operation Center on Peterson Air Force Base at 9:15 a.m.

Media are invited to cover the NORAD air mission brief to Santa from 9:00 to 9:15 a.m. as well as his movements on Peterson AFB as he greets families and children at both of the child development centers until Santa departs at 11:00 a.m. Media are also invited to cover Santa’s departure from Peterson AFB.

This year, Santa’s Traveling WorkshopTM will be transporting Santa Claus and his elves on a historic coast-to-coast test flight visiting America’s Armed Forces and their families. Santa’s test flight will include visits to Wounded Warriors and their families in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, to service men and women at Military bases, and to the families of those deployed at the bases.

Santa’s next stops will be Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base in Washington before heading to Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Calif. He will than return to the North Pole for final preparations before his special Christmas Eve journey.
