Report: Vision, comprehensive agreement essential to Canada-U.S. defense and security COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A combined vision and a comprehensive defense and security agreement are just two of 32 recommendations outlined in a final report produced by the Canada-United States military Bi-National Planning Group. The report, which is addressed to the governments of both countries, is designed to stimulate discussion and highlight ways of enhancing bi-national military cooperation to better protect Canadians and Americans from terrorist attacks and to respond to emergencies, both natural and man-made. “The findings and recommendations contained in the report provide great insight into key areas of Canada-United States military cooperation, and the BPG’s efforts are intended to be a catalyst in defining and strengthening future bi-national relationships,” said Lt.-Gen.
