OAK HARBOR, Wash. - A Sailor assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 1, platoon 122, drops into the water for a mine countermeasure dive in the Puget Sound. The mine countermeasure operation is a joint maritime homeland defense exercise that is part of the larger Vigilant Shield 19, an annual joint homeland defense exercise to hone interoperability and cooperation skills between Canada and the United States.
