The U.S. Air Force has and continues to meet NORAD mission requirements for operations such as Operation Noble Eagle and other Air Sovereignty Alert missions assigned to the command. As the transition of the U.S. Air Force F-15s back into operational status takes place, those F-15s not yet cleared may still fly under a mandatory scramble order.
